Mex Sense

Claude Vogel, photographer, born in France and a tireless traveler from his 20s came to Mexico for his first adventure journey. Later travels took him to other countries of Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe.

His professional experience as a photographer, reporter and publicist began 15 years ago in metropolitan France and in the French Antilles where he contributed to articles in several magazines. In 1998 he discovered and was captivated by the natural beauty of the peninsula of Baja California. He settled in La Paz, creating with his wife and son the agency Mex Sense, where photographic images reflect his curiosity and sensibility towards nature. His creative use of light and composition reflects the myriad variability of the local flora and fauna.

His activities in tourist promotion include a collection of 105 different postcards distributed throughout the state of Baja California Sur.
His first book, Baja California Sur, La primera de las Californias, was published in conjunction with the event of the 2002 APEC meeting.
